Frequently Asked Questions and Answers about Generator Use
1. I just received the video tutorial for my new machine and it said I need to add oil. I see there is oil on the oil dipstick?
Answer: First of all, new generators need to be debugged before being packaged at the factory. After debugging, they will be dumped and then packed. The reason why they are dumped is that the generator cannot have oil during transportation. Not only is express delivery and logistics not allowed, power generation The machine itself is not allowed to put oil in it. If it is turned upside down by express delivery, the oil will overflow from the valve and damage the packaging or the machine.
2. Why after using it for a period of time, it stops working when I turn off the heat and add oil.
Answer: This kind of problem is to understand the difference between the hot engine and the cold engine of the generator. To start the cold engine, you need to turn off the air door and then open it after ignition. A warm engine means that when the engine is still hot, it does not need to be started by blowing the air blower.
3. I was using it well, but suddenly it stalled. And it turns off every half an hour.
Answer: If the problem of flameout occurs, first determine whether the generator output is normal before flameout and whether there is overload. If the overload exceeds a certain value, the generator will stall. After this is eliminated, check the engine oil. Under normal circumstances, the oil level is in the refill bottle. It can be seen from the mouth that it does not flow out (the machine is placed correctly). Do not add more or less. Secondly, check whether the air intake switch on the generator fuel tank cap is turned to the 'ON' position. Only in the 'ON' position can air intake be maintained in the fuel tank without holding the tank so that the gasoline does not go to the carburetor.
4. I tried the generator as soon as I received it, but it stopped working after a few months. Answer: Is this the case because the oil added before has not been poured out of the generator? If so, the gasoline needs to be replaced and checked. It is best to replace all the engine oil. Since gasoline is stored in the carburetor for a long time, the gasoline will become moldy and the carburetor will become clogged. The first solution is to change the gasoline engine oil, loosen the carburetor screw and put some gasoline down. The third solution is to clean the carburetor.
